Tasting Notes:
Vibrant dark red with purple hues. Subtle yet expressive, black cherries, dried spice and liquorice. This vintage of Bishop is amazingly expressive and approachable for a wine of such depth. It is both bright and complex and with a convincingly silky texture. Flavours of dark cherry, blackberry, dark chocolate and multiple dried spices are supported by restrained tannin. Look for the classic calling card of palate length and persistence.

This 2020 Bishop Shiraz is a saturating and pure example of Barossa Shiraz, from a warm, compacted and low-yielding vintage. The wine in the glass is the very essence of Barossa, with red, earthy tannins, spicy/toasty oak and a fruit profile that spans red, purple and black. Really well done. Delicious.
