With the Roman conquest which began in the year 56 BC, the first vines were planted in the region of Saint-Emilion. Eleanor of Aquitaine's marriage to King Henry II in 1152 brought Aquitaine under English rule. This period promotes the development of the vineyard.

The Domaine de Rocher Corbin is a former farm of Château Corbin, stronghold of the Lord of Corbin in the Middle Ages.

This property was acquired in the 1880s by Charles Durand.

Rocher Corbin has been passed down for 4 generations, from father to son, with the same passion for vines and wine.

Since 1986, Philippe Durand has devoted himself to the modernization of the property, with the greatest respect for the terroir, the environment, and traditional practices of vine growing. Its goal: to produce on this exceptional terroir one of the greatest wines of the appellation.
