Variety: Grenache/Shiraz/Mourvedre
Tasting notes:
Deep crimson in colour and bursting with dark cherry, raspberry and exotic spice aromas. The palate is extremely seductive, combining a blend of fleshy fruits and savoury flavours amid a rounded and textural finish. Approachable upon release this wine will also mature very well for the medium to longer term.
Review:
94 points, Dave Brookes, Halliday’s Wine Companion “Ripe plummy goodness from the first sip, with light floral facets flitting around above the fruit, which sits on a base of exotic spice, earth, kirsch and roasting meats. Superfine sandy tannins lends support. It has a lively line, great balance and presents both super drinking and great value.”
